Issue
End users see the following warning alert from Microsoft's SmartScreen Defender when falling for a phishing email
This site has been reported as unsafe
This website has been classified as malicious
Solution
To remove the warning, you will need to safelist the Phishing domains as a Trusted site in Internet Explorer and Edge.
- Open Internet Explorer or Edge and navigate to Internet Options > Security tab.
- Add the phishing domains as a trusted site.
- Select the Trusted sites zone icon.
- Click the Sites button.
- Uncheck the box Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.
- Add the Phishing domain(s) you are using in your phishing campaigns.

- Click Close.
- Disable SmartScreen Defender for Trusted sites only. On the Security tab, click on the Custom level... button.
- Scroll down to Use Windows Defender SmartScreen or Use SmartScreen Filter (Win8) and select Disable.
- Click OK.
