Scenario:
Your organisation needs to allow an individual(s) to review some data within the archive. This data may cover a broad spectrum of requirements across multiple individuals. You do not want this individual to have a free reign across your entire archived data, but limited to the requirements you set out. This is possible with the archive service, by elevating the individual rights to become a Reviewer, and setting permissions for this user to review the results of a search.
This KB will explain in detail about how to allow a user to only review specific data that the administrator has designated for review by an individual.
1. The Administrator of the archive will apply the 'Reviewer' Role to the user in question.
2. The Administrator/Search Administrator, will create a search, based on the defined search criteria that was provided to them. Once validation of the search results is confirmed, the 'search' should be saved.
2a. Give the Search a name
2b. Select Manage on user access
2c. Select the user(s) to access the search
2d. Save the search
The user, when they next log onto the archive, will have the searches option available on the left hand side. When selected, they will be presented with the searches that have been assigned to them for review.
Notes:
The Reviewer roles will allow the individual to review, Tag and or place search results on hold. They will not be able to export, download or forward the messages from the archive.
