How Can I Authenticate With A Username And A Password For Outgoing SMTP?

IP authentication is the default and recommended SMTP authentication mechanism.

If your environment does not permit this kind of setup, please use the following steps:

1. Login to VIPRE Portal.
2. Go to Users > Users in the list to the left.
3. Click the + button on the right hand side of the page to create a new user.
4. Enter username and password and press Save.
5. Done!

Use the same credentials on your mail server for authentication and start sending mails via us.
