We are aware of CVE-2023-23397, and our Threat Research team is working to identify attacks trying to exploit this vulnerability. That said, Proofpoint can detect malicious behaviors resulting from these exploits to stop the attack and protect our customers.
Proofpoint products are designed to protect our users from malicious content and behaviors, not specific vulnerabilities. When new vulnerabilities and exploit information are published, our research team analyzes the information available and adds detection as needed.
