VIPRE Email Security- Rejection Reasons

Below is a list of Inbound and outbound rejection reasons. Which can be seen within the VIPRE portal and the cause of them.

When we receive a message in our mail server which is from a unknown address to a unknown address, then the following tuple will be grey-listed: IP, sender, recipient
However, if our mail server receives the same tuple for the 2nd time, then the IP address will be added to our system wide global greylisting allow list. It will not be greylisted again.

Sender verify failed

Server tries to verify the sender's email address. In order to verify this, the server connects to the remote SMTP server from which the mail originates according to the "MAIL FROM" command. If the server can't be reached, or if it doesn't know about that particular email address, the delivery is denied.
