Placing search results on hold

You can place any number of results from a search on hold in one swift procedure.

1. To perform this, access your search results and select the assets which you would like to place on or remove from any hold reason(s) available in your archive.  To select all, choose the check box in the header.
2. Locate the "Hold" option, located at the top Right of your results.
3. Use the check box menu to select the hold reasoning.
4. Click, "Add" or "Remove" to perform the relevant action on the selected assets.

This will initiate a background process to place all the selected assets on your chosen hold reason (or remove them).

Depending on the number of results placed on hold, the process could take seconds to hours. Please be patient. Example: A scenario of 1,000,000 items taking approximately 4-6 hours to complete.
