BCC header information not included exports via the UI
When performing exports from the archive platform via the user interface, any BCC header information is excluded from that export.
However should it be a requirement that you need this header information included with your export, your service provider will supply you with the data.
To request this information, please contact your service provider requesting an export of the data that includes the BCC header information.
Provide to your service provider the following details:
- Your Accounts Name
- The unique Search ID, this can be found using this method documented here
This service is only applicable for exports that do not exceed 30K items, and only one export per customer
Why has this information been excluded from the user generated export?
The additional envelope details of the message are excluded to reduce the potential risk should an administrator perform an export for an individual, and that they are not provided with the additional header information that could change what was once privileged information. (information they would not previously be aware of).
However, we understand the needs of our customers to be in control of their data, therefore we are looking to apply a future feature in the archive for Administrators to make the obvious choice to include the headers in an export from the User Interface.
