Microsoft 365: Configuring Outbound Delivery Routing explained
Dear Primary Contact,
This graphic illustrates the steps required to connect your infrastructure to Mimecast. If you'd like more information click the image to visit our knowledge base. Green indicates your current step, while gray indicates completed steps.
Next Steps
1. Open your Firewall for inbound and outbound traffic - IP ranges can be found here.
2. If you are using SPF records, please update these.
3.Setup SMTP connectors to route outbound email through Mimecast – instructions Microsoft O365 can be viewed here. The Mimecast host names you'll be using for your configuration are:
us-smtp-o365-outbound-1.
us-smtp-o365-outbound-2.
4. Log in to the Administration Console and use our Accepted Email or Tracking features (within the Gateway menu) to confirm that your outbound mail is being routed via Mimecast. Once our systems detect outbound traffic on your account, well send you the details for your next step.
Please respond to this email if you have any questions about this step.
Kind regards
