To reduce spoofed emails coming into your domain you can trigger on DKIM failure in the portal. We as a receiver will check that the email was authorised by the owner of that domain. This is done by verifying the digital DKIM signatures and if the signature is valid it guarantees that some parts of the message have not been changed.
Here's how to activate the function:
- Login to your portal.
- Go to Service settings and section Filtering.
- Under Additional Quarantine settings, tick the Quarantine at DKIM failure.
- Done!
This function is recommended that you have enabled, especially if you are experiencing problems with spoofed emails, but also in general.
You don't have to have a DKIM record/signature set up on your own domain to use this function, since it checks the senders' DKIM record/signature.
