The following was added to the VIPRE Dashboard as a Notification on 07/30/2025
As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping VIPRE’s Email Security Cloud platform — and your organisation — secure, we are introducing mandatory security enhancements that will take effect on September 16th, 2025.
To ensure uninterrupted mail flow and optimal protection, please complete the following actions as soon as possible, and no later than September 16th, 2025:
1. Update Your MX and Smarthost Records
To benefit from improved infrastructure and resilience, all customers must use the latest format of VIPRE’s MX and Smarthost records.

2. Configure Outbound Token Authentication (Office 365 Customers Only)
If you are relaying outbound traffic via VIPRE from Office 365, Outbound Token Authentication is now required for secure mail routing.
