Proofpoint: Auto-Enrollment in Training

Question

How do I auto-enroll users into training when they fall for a Phish?

Answer

Phishing offers the option to auto-enroll users in a Training Assignment if the user fails the appropriate campaign conditions.  The Auto-Enrollment Training will be created as soon as one user fails the appropriate campaign condition. This can take up to 30 minutes.

To auto-enroll users in Training:

  1. During Campaign creation, click the check box next to In-depth Training > Auto-enrollment

By default the the assignment name for auto-enrollment assignments will be Anti-Phishing Education  <today's date>.  Therefore, if you create two campaigns in the same day you will get the same assignment name. In order to fix this issue you will need to Change the Assignment Name on the second campaign.

  1. You can edit the Assignment Title
  2. Select the Assignment Type
    • Duration
    • Scheduled
  3. Next to Schedule, enter the appropriate information based on what type of assignment you selected
  4. Select New Assignment Notification option from drop-down

Note: Notifications must be enabled in the Notification Library

  1. Choose Assignment Completion Notification option from drop-down
  2. Add Reminder if desired
  3. Under Training Modules, search for and select Modules by Type or Category
  4. Enable Enforce module completion order if desired
  5. Proceed with the remaining steps of Campaign Creation

If you delete an auto-enrollment assignment from the Training Assignments table, the original phishing campaign will remain but the auto-enrollment assignment will be deleted from the campaign.

Note: You will only be able to see the modules that your company is licensed for and your published custom modules.
