How do I add users to an assignment that is already in process?
Answer
To add users to a running assignment follow the steps below:
- Under Tools, click Security Awareness, followed by Launch Platform.
- The Security Awareness console opens.
- Select Training > Assignments
- Click on name of assignment
- Under Edit Assignment > Users, select users you wish to add to assignment
- To see what users are already part of the assignment, click on View # Included Users
- Choose +Add To Assignment
- Click Submit
- The new users will receive a Training Assignment Notification as long as the notification is Approved, Active and Enabled
The new users will receive a Training Assignment Notification as long as the notification is Approved, Active and Enabled. The Assignment cannot be Past Due prior to adding the users to the Assignment. In these cases the new users will not be sent the Training Assignment Notification.
If the Assignment is Completed, new users can still be added as long as the assignment is Active. The add user function only locks when the due date has expired, not when the assignment has been Completed.

A group can be used ONLY as a filtering option in an assignment. The traditional add group option is no longer an avenue to add users to an assignment.
