Outbound mail to Google mail routing issue
Starting January 16th at 10:40 UTC, Proofpoint Essentials customers have reported issues with outbound mail to Google mail being routed to the Google mail Spam folder and some cases mail being bounced by Google mail.Proofpoint Essentials teams are actively investigating this issue and we have reached out to this service provider to work on remediating this.

The issue has been resolved. Internal teams are still investigating the root cause. Issue appears to have started in EU centers and moved to US later in the morning. All customers reporting mail is now being delivered as normal. Final update to be added later this week when investigation is complete.
