[Resolved] Proofpoint Essentials: Service Incident affecting mail status [26-JUN-2023]

Customers may see delays in mail being released from quarantine and mail UI status updates

SYMPTOMS: Quarantined mail release and Sandboxing and Mail UI status may see delays

Proofpoint teams are currently investigating this issue, Product efficacy is not impacted.


17:00 (10:00 PST) - Essentials services were impacted by multiple fiber cuts between our Data Centers impacting both primary and secondary connectivity.

Primary connectivity has been restored and secondary is being worked on.  Queued data is being cleared and should be returning to normal soon.

18:05 UTC (11:05 PST) - Primary connections are stable. All queued messages have been processed and mailflow has returned to normal.  We will continue to review better ways to avoid this going forward.
