Customers may see an increase in legitimate mail being quarantined. Our internal teams are engaged and currently investigating this issue.

At this time, errant rules have been reverted, emails identified as false positives and quarantined can be released by following this KB article https://help.proofpoint.com/Essentials/Support/Support_Knowledge_Base/Email_Security/How_to_release_Quarantined_Emails
