How do I activate an Email Notification template?
Answer
The email notification template must be in Approved status in order for it to be Activated. To check the status, view the Status column on the Email Notification page. This field allows you to quickly review which templates are approved and which are still being drafted. You must approve and activate a template before you can Enable it for use.
- Under Tools, click Security Awareness, followed by Launch Platform
- The Security Awareness console opens.
- Navigate Notifications
- Click on the notification type (i.e. Training New Assignment, Training Assignment Completion, etc...)
- Check the box next to specific notification to Approve (i.e. Default New Assignment Email)
- Choose Edit
- Change the Status from Draft to Approved
- Check the box next to Active:
- Select Save
Notes
- Only a single template may be active in a notification category. However, multiple templates can be approved.
- By activating a template, you are selecting this template to be the default if an alternate is not selected in the Assignment workflow.
Notification will not be sent until it is Enabled.
